Who we are
Binnara (“we”) is an online Korean beauty store operating from Dhaka and serving customers across Bangladesh through binnara.net.
What we collect
When you place an order
- Your name, mobile number and delivery address, so the parcel reaches you and we can call to confirm.
- Any note you add to the order.
- If you pay by bKash: the number you sent from and the transaction ID, so we can match the payment.
- Technical details of the order: time, IP address, browser type, and the ad or link that brought you here, so we can detect fake orders and measure advertising.
When you browse
- Session cookies that keep your bag together while you shop. These are essential and expire when you leave.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising cookies and pixel events, described below.
We do not ask for, or store, card details or passwords. There are no customer accounts.
How we use it
- To confirm, pack and deliver your order, and to contact you about it by phone, SMS or WhatsApp.
- To handle returns, refunds and questions.
- To prevent fraud, such as repeated fake cash-on-delivery orders.
- To measure and improve advertising on Meta platforms.
Who receives your data
- Delivery partners. The courier receives your name, phone number, address and the cash amount to collect. Nothing else.
- Meta Platforms. When you browse or order, we send Meta pixel and Conversions API events (such as page views, items added to the bag and purchases) together with technical identifiers and, for purchases, a hashed form of your phone number and name. Meta uses these to measure ads and to show relevant ads to people like you. You can control ad personalisation in your Facebook and Instagram settings, and block cookies in your browser.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its database on our behalf.
We do not sell customer lists or share your details with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records, including your name, phone and address, are kept for as long as needed for returns, accounting and legal obligations, and then deleted or anonymised. Advertising cookies expire according to Meta’s published schedule, typically within 90 days.
Your choices
- Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it.
- Ask us not to contact you for anything other than an order you placed.
- Disable cookies in your browser. The shop still works, though your bag will not persist between visits.

Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the admin area is password-protected, and only the people who pack and confirm orders can see customer details.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes are announced on the site.
